Communications Center Inc. (Louisville) settles a race discrimination case with Mechele Turner for $8,250. Originally in 1994, Turner was awarded $50,000 but after an appeal, and on remand from the Circuit Court, the award is reduced to $25,000.

Denise Aldridge alleges that she inquired about an advertisement for a two bedroom apartment and Alan and Sharon Stegner (Ft. Thomas) stated that they did not allow children. In April, The Stegners agree to pay Aldridge $1,500.

A $20,129.76 consent decree is entered in a housing case between KCRR and Paul E. Wirth (LaGrange) for acts of discrimination based on familial status.
